Crazy things are happening in the Big Apple as a result of Inferno! When a brick building comes to life and crushes an innocent bystander, the wondrous wall-crawler is devastated that he couldn't save the poor man. However the next day when he returns to the same location, the web-slinger senses a mystery. Or perhaps better stated...Mysterio! Under the cover of Inferno, the Master of Illusion attempts to wreak havoc on Spider-Man's life! Can the spectacular one see through the mist and fog and solve (the) Mysterio?

Appearance by Mary Jane Watson. Cameo appearances by Dr. Curt Connors, Harry Osborn, Liz Osborn, Normie Osborn, and the Hobgoblin.
