The inside cover tells the creative story of Starlord and how Chris Claremont and John Byrne came to work on a character created by Steve Englehart.

The majority of the issue was originally printed in Marvel Preview #11 in 1977 and done by Chris Claremont and John Byrne, but a few extra pages were added to this issue (written by Chris Claremont and penciled by Michael Golden).
